Bethel’s Welcome Week 2011 Move-In highlight video.
First of all, I’m obsessed with the kind of dof the camera used to make this can get. Second, the Owl City song is perfect for this. And third, I just love Bethel so much - I almost went there but at the last second changed my mind and have half-regretted it ever since…
Interesting clocks.

Coco Chanel.
The woman was more than a fashion designer - she was a symbol of modernism and feminism who broke the rules of her day and chose to follow her instinct, not the latest fads. And maybe the most amazing part is that she came from nothing. Her mother died, her father abandoned her, and she was left to grow up in an orphanage. Her life story is fascinating, and I would highly recommend the movie Coco Avant Chanel - it depicts the humble beginnings of her life, before she became a famous designer.
This scene from the OC.
The slow motion/music/emotion behind the scene got me :)
I’m a fan of minimalism in general, so I find these to be just brilliant.
Watchmen.
It’s so dark, yet there’s just something about this movie. And this is one of my favorite opening scenes ever. I’ve read the graphic novel (which is a lot creepier) and also enjoyed that immensely. Oh, and this is the perfect time to mention I dressed up as Silk Spectre II for a cast party in April :)
“You’re a Wolf” by Sea Wolf.
I’ve been listening to this song nonstop, and it’s been stuck in my head for the last few days. I just love the mood the song creates - at least in my mind. It definitely contributed to this photoshoot I did yesterday.
“He stirred, leaving a memory. I could practically hear the roll of his shutters coming down behind his eyes, the click the doors of his memory made as they swung firmly shut.”
